Holding the lead for a substantial part of the race down the lake, they were the first boat around the the Barge du Bouveret after racing for over 7 hours and ahead of the strongest competitors in the fleet. They continued to show their patience and tactical finesse, finding themselves in 4th place not to far off the leaders. They finished in the pitch dark of the night with the notoriously shifting light winds by the SNG yacht club, slipping back a few places in the final minutes in the tough conditions. Team Phaedo ended 10th overall out of 186 participants, in what was an incredible 2nd Bol d’Or for Lloyd, the newest addition to the D35 class. Congratulations to him and his team, well sailed.
