At the centre of the ultimate destination

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]After 9 months, 45,000 nautical miles, four oceans, six continents and 11 host cities, the ultimate destination is now in sight for all of the teams, signalling the end of the most challenging sailing race known to man. This edition of the Volvo Ocean Race will finish on the doorstep of the Sailmon Office in the Hague, the 12th and final host city.

For eight days, Scheveningen harbour will be the centre of the sailing and watersports world. A number of water sport activities and races will be going on at the same time, right on our doorstep. Here are just a few that we will be a part of:

23 June – 30 June Optimist European Championship
24 June Arrival of the Volvo Ocean Race Fleet
24 June – 25 June Hackathon – 15 Students big data crushing at Sailmon HQ
25 June – 26 June “Sailing Race of the Future” at Sailmon HQ
25 June Press meeting Sailing Innovation Centre & Sailmon HQ
25 June – 30 June Red Bull Foiling Generation
27 June – 1 July Innovation Pavillion, open 10:00- 22:00 in the Race Village

Here is a little sneak preview of two of our latest innovations:

============================================================

Sailmon LOGS

At the Innovation Pavillion we will be presenting Sailmon LOGS, the social sailing platform for sharing, logging, replaying data & media to re-live trips. It is the perfect platform to help sailors and their coaches improve performance. It enables users to sync onboard data with picture content captured whilst sailing and stream it live or upload it for people to replay whenever they choose.

The functionality built into Sailmon LOGS is a part of the reason why the Dutch Olympic Team, and an increasing number of high profile pro campaigns (a.o. Red Bull Extreme Sailing and Team Phaedo), have purchased the Sailmon Model E4, our displays and our wind-pole.

The social component of Sailmon LOGS will add fun to your sailing experience. Making the sport more accessible by allowing both sailors and fans to follow, share, replay and relive trips.

Meet the Sailmon App

The Sailmon App turns every iPhone and Android device into an advanced sailing processor. Making all action on the water instantly available online. Any moment captured on the boat, being instantly uploaded and enhanced with live data from a coach pole, weather station or grab source. This allows sailors to compare optimal VMG’s, capture their favorite moments or trips and share or relive them with family and fans anywhere in the world. Whether you’re learning to sail in your Optimist or trying to win the America’s Cup.

We look forward to seeing you during the finish week, if you would like to come visit or talk to Kalle and Kim you can meet us at the Innovation Pavilion or get in touch by filling in the form below.

See you at the Finish!

Kind regards,

The Sailmon Team[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]
