The 811 nautical miles offshore race starts 27th of January in Miami and ends in Montego Bay, Jamaica. “The Pineapple Cup is one of those races that are on every sailor’s bucket list. It’s been 10 years since I last did this race, and 14 years since I have won it, so I’m very much looking forward to the race!” says Kalle.

The Pineapple Cup
The Pineapple Cup Yacht Race is one of the oldest offshore races on the regional yachting calendar. 2019 marks the 34th edition of the venerable 811-nautical mile race which speeds from Miami to Montego Bay, Jamaica. The event has been won by some of the region’s most best sailors and it continues to attract top talent from around the world. The Pineapple Cup will include divisions for IRC, PHRF, double-handed and multi-hulls.

Lady Mariposa Racing is an amateur sailing team, formed from eight different nationalities, on an Oyster Ker46. Over the years they’ve posted some fantastic results most recently winning the 2018 Cherbourg Race. ‘The Lady M’ is equipped with the latest marine technology by Sailmon.
