Lady Mariposa wins the Pineapple Cup!
The by Sailmon equipped Lady Mariposa Racing Team has won the IRC class of the Pineapple Cup. The team, with navigator Kalle Coster onboard, finished the 874-mile race in 3 days, 18 hours and 28 minutes. Sailmon congratulates skipper Nigel King and his crew with this great result.
The Pineapple Cup
The Pineapple Cup Yacht Race is one of the oldest offshore races on the regional yachting calendar. 2019 marked the 34th edition of the venerable 811-nautical mile race which speeds from Miami to Montego Bay, Jamaica. The event has been won by some of the region’s best sailors and it continues to attract top talent from around the world. The Pineapple Cup include divisions for IRC, PHRF, double-handed and multi-hulls.
