# ''MAX saved our race!''

What if your current instrument system let you down just before the start of a crucial race? Well, just let [MAX](http://sailmon.com/max) lead you the way! Paolo Mangialardo, the Italian professional sailor on a TP52 during the ORC European Championships Capri Italy last week, can tell you everything about it.

''We had a lot of problems with our current system before the start,'' says Paolo. ''Lucky enough, I had [MAX](http://sailmon.com/max) in my backpack because I didn't want to leave the device in my car. We stitched [MAX](http://sailmon.com/max) with ducktape over the existing instruments. And guess what? [MAX](http://sailmon.com/max) led us to a fantastic start; even better, we won! [MAX](http://sailmon.com/max) saved our race for sure.''

Paolo normally uses the [MAX](http://sailmon.com/max) on A-catamaran, but he is pretty sure he will never go out sailing on the bigger boats without [MAX](http://sailmon.com/max). ''[MAX](http://sailmon.com/max) was a real life-saver,'' concludes Paolo.
