The Kieler Woche (also known as Kiel Week) is one of the largest sailing events in the world. This year, the 140th year of Kieler Woche will take place in a reduced form - focused on sailing and without large event areas or opportunities for large crowds. The sailing regattas will take place mainly in Schilksee to the exclusion of the public. A digital transmission of the competitions ensures that one can participate at least virtually.
