We’ve had to wait a long time, but after a week of severe frost in the Netherlands it’s finally possible: ice sailing. The local community, including our own Kalle Coster, has been keeping a close eye on the thickness of the ice on the various lakes in the past week. For next Saturday, the ice master has given the green light. And of course, for the avid sailors, this can only mean one thing: GAME ON.
Sailmon challenges every ice sailor to participate in this one of a kind battle next Saturday. Make sure to sail with MAX during the event as it automatically captures all of the unique performances. The highest speed - ambassador Kyle Langford posted his proud record of 51.9kn last Thursday – will be awarded with a prize.
