Scheveningen/Netherlands, 13 November 2017 – Dutch based nautical instrument solutions provider SAILMON will present its latest marine technology at the METSTRADE SHOW 2017, to be held on November 14 until 16 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. SAILMON has a pioneering vision on hardware, software as well as on cloud solutions in the market for nautical equipment. Over the years, the company introduced new concepts of how to display, handle and monitor information about sailing performance and boat systems.
SAILMON’s high-quality, full colour and full graphical displays offer perfect sunlight and pitch dark readability, proven ruggedness and 100% waterproofing. The other asset is the SAILMON Model E4 Processor with unique Internet connectivity. It processes and converts all incoming data from the sensors on board into adequate and useful sailing performance data. It connects to almost all displays and sensors of B&G, Garmin, Raymarine, Simrad or Nexus. That allows customers to reuse their sensors and displays fitted on their boat. The Model E4 System Software stays up to date with free over-the- air updates.
The new SAILMON NavDesk App (on iPad or Android tablet) is icon-based, intuitive and easy to use. It allows users to simply setup, configure, calibrate and manage their onboard system and sensors. Apple or Play Store sends automatic SAILMON NavDesk software updates.
To offer clients accurate service at any time and everywhere, SAILMON engineers can log into the boat system for remote diagnostics, calibration and support.
SAILMON believes in the power of highly experienced and specialized team members and therefore it recently announced four new key players: CEO Peter Houtzagers (NED), Customer Experience & Service Director Richard Kent (GBR), International Sales Director Phillipe Gié (FRA) and Customer Support Manager Peter Knight (GBR).
