Sailmon signs €1.5m investment agreement with high tech investment fund Disruptive Technology Ventures

Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 13 November 2018 – At the opening day of Mets 2018 Sailmon BV announced that they have raised 1.5 million euro for a series B financing round. This capital will be used to continue the company’s growth, accelerate the product innovations and the development of their social sailing platform. The investment is done by Disruptive Technology Ventures, a Dutch investment fund established by founders of cybersecurity leader Fox-IT (Ronald Prins and Menno van der Marel), and former KPN and TNT CEO Ad Scheepbouwer.

Serial entrepreneur and angel investor Peter Houtzagers will no longer be part of the management team but will remain as a shareholder for this next chapter in Sailmon’s adventure.
