What a great week it was. We provided wind data on the start ship MS Estrella for the start of the Vuurschepen Race. The race was set to be a slow one, with minimal wind expected for the majority of the race, however the Sailmon equipped Rotterdam Offshore Sailing Team Van Uden on there KER 46 took line honours in Harwich. We were also able to help out Team Heiner, who encountered some PC issues just hours before the start of the race. We also saw strong performances out of the Sailmon equipped Saffier Nitro and Flying Dolphin.
On the way back to the Hague, during the North Sea Race, we continued to see strong performances from the Sailmon equipped boats. The most exciting being the race between Lady Mariposa Racing and Team Van Uden in the IRC Zero Class. In the end Team Lady Mariposa took line honours and the Wyler Trophy for the IRC zero class win, with Team Van Uden just missing out.
With the Offshores now complete, the teams have had a couple days off and are set to start the inshores this week, with even more Sailmon equipped boats set to take part, you don’t want to miss it.
During the inshore races you can see:
Lady Mariposa Racing (KER 46)
Rotterdam Offshore Sailing Team (KER 46)
Team Delft Challenge (FARR 30)
Flying Dolphin (Dufour 40 x 2.10)
